The YWCA provides a safe haven for her while parents are still at work and have no place to be.
There are many children waiting to come in to the program, but we need your help by sponsoring one of them!

The YWCA's after school program is available to boys and girls ages 5 through 12. It runs from September through June (paralleling the school calendar) every weekday.
The YWCA provides transportation from the schools to the YWCA, so the parents do not have to leave work. The children are picked up at the YWCA between 5:30 and 6:30 pm every day.
Through our nurturing and caring staff and volunteers, we provide quality programs that are both educational and recreational. We aim to help a child foster a strong self-esteem.
We have several partners, like Junior Achievement of New Jersey, the First Tee of Greater Trenton and the Friends Meeting House, to help us provide a wide range of activities to our little participants.
It costs the YWCA approximately $50 per child per week to provide this invaluable service to our kids. Since the program runs 40 weeks of the year (school calendar), it costs $2,000 per child for an entire year.
